Tiene una construcción top-down sin costuras. Comienza con un montaje provisional a partir del cual se teje la espalda en plano hasta la axila. A continuación, se retoman los puntos del delantero izquierdo y se va dando forma al cuello a la vez que se teje un sencillo calado, hasta llegar a la axila. Después se repite con el delantero derecho. Seguidamente, se unen los delanteros y la espalda para tejer el cuerpo que termina con algunas vueltas del calado y un cierre en picot. A continuación, se levantan puntos en las sisas y se tejen las mangas, también rematadas con el calado y un cierre en picot. Por último, se levantan puntos en el borde de los delanteros y el cuello, se hacen unas vueltas del calado y se cierra también con picot.

Just Cotton de Lanasalpaca (100% algodón) (125 m/50 g) o cualquier hilado de grosor DK de composición similar.

En la muestra se ha usado el color A048.

• Agujas circulares de 3,75 mm (o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión) y cables de distintas longitudes en función del número de puntos.
• Agujas circulares de 3,5 mm (o del tamaño inferior a las anteriores).

• 1 botón (opcional).

20 p y 35 vtas en un cuadrado de 10 x 10 cm en punto jersey en plano DESPUÉS de bloquear.

The María Luisa Jacket is inspired by the Infanta María Luisa Fernanda de Borbón (a member of the Spanish royal family), donor of the gardens of the palace of San Telmo to the city of Seville (Spain) for the construction of the park that today bears her name.

It has a seamless top-down construction, beginning with a provisional cast-on from which the back is worked flat down to the underarm. Then, stitches are picked up for the left front and the neck is shaped while working a simple lace. This is then repeated for the right front.

Next, the fronts and back are joined to work the body which ends in a few lace rows and picot bind-off. Then, stitches are picked up around the armholes to work the sleeves, which also finish with a few lace rounds and a picot bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up around the edges of the fronts and the neck, a few lace rows are worked and then this is also finished with a picot bind-off.

YARN

Just Cotton from Lanasalpaca (100% cotton) (125 m/50 g) or any other DK weight yarn of a similar fibre content.

The sample shown used the colour A048.

These measurements (in cm) are estimates and correspond to the finished garment. I would recommend ease of between 0 and 5 cm.

• 75 mm circular needles (or size needed to get gauge) and cables of different lengths depending on the number of stitches.
• 5 mm circular needles (or one size smaller than your main needles).
• Stitch markers.
• Waste yarn.
• 1 small button (optional).

GAUGE

20sts and 35 rows gives a square of 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch worked flat AFTER blocking.

Take your time to make a gauge swatch.

Il giacchino María Luisa è ispirato all’Infanta María Luisa Fernanda de Borbón (un membro della famiglia reale spagnola), che donò alla città di Siviglia, in Spagna, i giardini del palazzo di San Telmo per la costruzione del parco che oggi porta il suo nome.

Questo capo senza cuciture ha una costruzione top-down: si comincia con un avvio provvisorio a partire dal quale si lavora in piano il dietro fino al giromanica. Poi si raccolgono le maglie per il davanti sinistro e si sagoma lo scollo lavorando un semplice motivo traforato. Si fa la stessa cosa anche per il davanti destro.

In seguito si uniscono davanti e dietro per lavorare il corpo che termina con alcune righe a motivo traforato e una chiusura a picot. Poi si raccolgono le maglie intorno ai giromanica per lavorare le maniche che terminano, anche loro, con alcune righe a motivo traforato e una chiusura a picot. Infine, si raccolgono le maglie intorno ai bordi dei due davanti e dello scollo, si lavorano alcune righe a motivo traforato e si termina con una chiusura a picot.

FILATO

Just Cotton di Lanasalpaca (100% cotone) (125 m/50 g) o qualunque altro filato di spessore DK con una composizione simile.

Per l’esempio mostrato è stato usato il colore A048.
