La camiseta se teje de arriba hacia abajo (top-down) y sin costuras. Se comienza por la espalda con un montaje provisional y se trabaja en plano el motivo de rayas hasta llegar a la altura de la axila. En ese punto, los puntos de la espalda se dejan en espera y se retoman los del montaje provisional para tejer los hombros delanteros, formando al mismo tiempo el escote. Al alcanzar la sisa, se unen nuevamente los puntos de la espalda y se continúa tejiendo el cuerpo en circular. Después, se levantan los puntos de las sisas para formar las mangas murciélago, realizando disminuciones cada 3 vueltas. Finalmente, se levantan los puntos del escote para tejer el borde elástico que remata la prenda.

HILADO

Baby Yak/Silk de MYak (50% baby yak, 50% seda) (116 m/25 g) o cualquier otro hilado de grosor fingering de composición similar.

En la muestra se han usado los colores Prana (C1) y Turchese (C2).

• Agujas circulares de 3 mm (o 0,25 mm menos que las anteriores).

Equinoccio is a T-shirt designed for those days when summer is waning and autumn is beginning to show, when the mornings are fresh, but there is still a golden light in the afternoon. The stripes alternate shades of colour like day and night, while the batwing sleeves offer comfort for the change in climate.

The shirt is worked top-down seamlessly. We begin at the back with a provisional cast-on and work flat in the stripe pattern down to the underarm. At which point, the back stitches are put on hold while we pick up stitches from the provisional cast-on to work the fronts of the shoulders, shaping the neckline at the same time. At the underarm, the front stitches are joined to the back stitches, and we continue working the body in the round. Afterwards, we pick up stitches around the armholes to shape the batwing sleeves, working decreases every 3 rounds. Finally, we pick up stitches around the neck to work a ribbed edging to finish the garment.

YARN

Baby Yak/Silk from MYak (50% baby yak, 50% silk) (116 m/25 g) or any other fingering weight yarn of a similar composition.

The sample shown used the colours Prana (C1) and Turchese (C2).

MATERIALS

• 25 mm circular needles (or size needed to get gauge) and cables of different lengths for the different sections of the shirt.
• 3 mm circular needles (or 0.25 mm smaller than the previous ones).
• Waste yarn (for the provisional cast-on).
• Stitch markers.
• Scissors.
• Tapestry needle.

GAUGE

24 sts x 32 rows gives a square of 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch worked flat AFTER blocking.

Equinoccio è una T-shirt creata per quei giorni in cui l’estate sta finendo e l’autunno comincia a mostrarsi, quando il mattino è fresco ma nel pomeriggio c’è ancora una bella luce dorata. Le righe presentano colori alternati come il giorno e la notte, mentre le maniche a pipistrello sono confortevoli nel cambio di stagione.

La T-shirt è lavorata top-down e senza cuciture. Cominciamo dal dietro con un avvio provvisorio e lavoriamo in piano nel motivo a righe fino al giromanica. A questo punto, le maglie del dietro sono lasciate in attesa mentre raccogliamo quelle dell’avvio provvisorio per lavorare la parte davanti delle spalle mentre, allo stesso tempo, sagomiamo lo scollo. Al giromanica, le maglie del davanti sono unite a quelle del dietro e continuiamo a lavorare il corpo in tondo. Successivamente raccogliamo le maglie intorno ai giromanica per sagomare le maniche a pipistrello, eseguendo delle diminuzioni ogni 3 giri. Infine raccogliamo le maglie intorno allo scollo per lavorare un bordo a coste e rifinire il capo.

FILATO
