Se teje en circular, empezando por el cuello. A continuación, se hacen vueltas cortas alemanas para dar altura al cuello por la espalda a la vez que se empiezan a hacer aumentos a cada lado de las líneas de raglán, que estarán formadas por un pequeño calado. Una vez terminado el canesú, se separan las mangas del cuerpo para trabajarlos por separado. Tanto el cuerpo como las mangas están rematados con un elástico 1×1. Por último, y de forma opcional, se borda el bajo de la camiseta con la técnica Blackwork con un motivo tradicional inglés. Si no quieres bordar, también puedes hacer la camiseta con un motivo de rayas.

HILADO

Summerlite 4ply de Rowan (100% algodón egipcio) (175 m/50 g). En la muestra bordada se han usado los colores Seashell (437) (CP) para la camiseta y Cobalt (447) (CC) para el bordado. En la muestra a rayas se han usado los colores High Tide (428) (CP) y Aqua (433) (CC).

Puedes usar otro hilado de grosor fingering (aprox. 400 m/100 g) de una composición similar. Si vas a bordar la camiseta, te aconsejo que sea un hilado de 4 cabos (4 ply).

TALLAS Y/O MEDIDAS FINALES

1 (2: 3: 4) (5: 6: 7: 8) para contornos de pecho de 85 (95: 105: 115) (125: 135: 145: 155) cm.

Las medidas (en cm) son aproximadas y corresponden a la prenda terminada. Te aconsejo una holgura positiva de unos 5/10 cm.

MATERIALES

• Agujas circulares de 3 mm (o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión) y cables de distintas medidas en función del número de puntos.
• Agujas circulares de 2,75 mm (o 0,25 mm más pequeñas que las anteriores).
• Hilo de desecho (para el montaje tubular con lazada).
• Marcadores.
• Para la versión bordada:
• Aguja de punta roma.
• Tijeras.

MUESTRA DE TENSIÓN

26 p y 37 vtas en un cuadrado de 10 x 10 cm en punto jersey en circular DESPUÉS de bloquear con las agujas más grandes.

Tómate tu tiempo para hacer la muestra de tensión.

NIVEL DE DIFICULTAD Y CONOCIMIENTOS NECESARIOS

• Montaje de lazada retorcida.
• Aumentos simples del derecho y del revés.
• Vueltas cortas alemanas.
• Cierre tubular.

La maglietta Catalina è ispirata ai tradizionali ricami spagnoli che Caterina d’Aragona (1485-1536) rese di moda presso la corte inglese durante il suo regno. È un capo a costruzione top-down, lavorato in tondo a partire dallo scollo. Si lavorano dei ferri accorciati alla tedesca per aggiungere un po’ di altezza dietro sul collo; allo stesso tempo si eseguono degli aumenti su entrambi i lati del raglan creando una piccola lavorazione traforata. Una volta terminato lo sprone, si separano le maniche e il corpo che sono poi rifiniti con una costa 1×1. Infine, puoi scegliere di decorare la parte inferiore della maglietta con un motivo tradizionale inglese ricamato con la tecnica Blackwork o, se preferisci, optare per un motivo a righe.

FILATO

Summerlite 4ply di Rowan (100% cotone egiziano) (175m/50g). Per l’esempio mostrato ricamato sono stati usati i colori Seashell (437) (MC) per il top e Cobalt (447) (CC) per il ricamo. Per l’esempio mostrato a righe sono stati scelti i colori High Tide (428) (MC) e Aqua (433) (CC).

Puoi usare qualunque filato fingering (circa 400m/100g) con caratteristiche simili. Se decidi di ricamare il tuo top, ti consiglio di usare un filato a 4 capi (4 ply).

Le misure qui indicate (in cm) sono approssimate e si riferiscono al capo finito. Ti suggerisco di lavorare con un agio tra 5 e 10cm.

• Ferri circolari da 2.75mm (o di 0.25mm più piccoli dei ferri principali).

• Per la versione ricamata:
• Ago da ricamo.
• Forbici.

TENSIONE

26m x 37 giri = 10 x 10cm a maglia rasata lavorata in tondo con i ferri più grandi DOPO il bloccaggio.

Prenditi il tempo per fare un campione.

The Catalina Tee is inspired by the traditional Spanish embroidery that Catherine of Aragon (1485-1536) made fashionable in the English court during her reign. It is a top-down raglan top, worked in the round, beginning at the neck. Then, German short rows are worked to add height to the back of the neck at the same time we begin to increase on either side of each raglan line, which will be formed with a little lacework. Once the yoke is finished, the body and sleeves are separated. Both the body and the sleeves are finished in a 1×1 rib. Lastly, and this is optional, the hem of the tee is embroidered using the Blackwork technique with a traditional English motif. If you don’t wish to do the embroidery, you can also make the top with a stripe pattern.

YARN

Summerlite 4ply by Rowan (100% Egyptian cotton) (175m/50g). The embroidered sample shown used the colours Seashell (437) (MC) for the top and Cobalt (447) (CC) for the blackwork. The striped sample shown used the colours High Tide (428) (MC) and Aqua (433) (CC).

You can use any fingering weight yarn (approx. 400m/100g) of similar characteristics. If you are going to embroider your top, I recommend that you choose a yarn with 4 strands (4 ply).

1 (2: 3: 4) (5: 6: 7: 8) to fit a chest circumference of 85 (95: 105: 115) (125: 135: 145: 155)cm.

These measurements (in cm) are estimates and correspond to the finished garment. I would advise positive ease of between 5 and 10cm.

• 3mm circular needles (or size needed to get gauge) and cables of different lengths depending on the number of stitches.
• 75mm circular needles (or 0.25mm smaller than your main needles).
• Waste yarn (for the tubular cast-on with yarnovers).
• Stitch markers.
• For the embroidered version:
• Embroidery needle.
• Scissors.

GAUGE

26sts x 37 rounds gives a square of 10 x 10cm in stockinette stitch worked in the round and with your larger needles AFTER blocking.

Take your time to make a gauge swatch.
